Jiraiya, aka Pervy Sage, aka Perverted Hermit, aka Ero Sennin

On the latest Naruto manga chapter, Naruto manga chapter 409 , titled "Passing Down The Sage Techniques" , Naruto follows Fukasaku to Myobokuzan, a place where the frogs summons are, and the place where Jiraiya learnt all his sage techniques.

It’s interesting to see Naruto get to Myobokuzan by "reverse" Kochiyose no jutsu. Nice! And Fukasaku’s going to have a hard time making Naruto understand theories in the training (we all know Naruto’s never good with theories!). Gladly there’s Gamabunta, who has been so used to Naruto since Naruto able to summon him (that’s good old few years ago).

So, what basically is "Sage Techniques" ?

1 . Unlike Ninja techniques, instead of using the energy within you, Sage techniques make use of energy within you AND the energy surrounding you.

2 . Sage techniques use three elements of chakra; the chakra that are born from spiritual energy and physical energy within you, PLUS the natural energy surrounding you.

3 . Surrounding energy used are the energy of atmosphere and the earth, aka air and the ground.

4 . In order to "feel" the energy, you need to die!!

"How" would Naruto die in order to absorb Sage techniques, is still in question. Find out on next chapter spoilers!!

Naruto and Sasuke; The Rivalry Continues..

Guys, some of you have already tried to guess what are the meaning of the codes left by Jiraiya before he dies.

On Naruto manga chapter 407 , we see the codes been decrypted by the code breaker, Shiho (who eherm.. have a crush on Shikamaru), with the help of Naruto. The codes are finally translated as "Hon-mono-hai-nai" , or "the real one isn’t there" . It turned out that the numbers in the codes are referring to certain pages and chapters in the latest book written by Jiraiya; Icha Icha Tactics .

At the same time, not too far away from Konoha, Akatsuki has made their steps ahead. Pein is now moving to Konoha to capture the Nine-Tails, knowing that the longer he waits, the harder it’d be to break into Konoha, as Konoha might have found out ’something’ after the death of Jiraiya.

The big question that gets into everyone’s head is the "new body" which Pein called as "Konan". The body might be the substitute for the body that was killed by Jiraiya while they were engaged in a battle before Jiraiya dies. The face sure don’t look like Konan much, but regardless, it’s Konan in some weird kind of ways (well, we haven’t found out what "techniques" does Pein use actually).

And oh, don’t worry about chapter 408 too much. The first seven pages are lamely the scenes of "Falcon" a.k.a Taka team consisting Sasuke and co. beating some shinobi in order to gain information of the Eight-Tails’ location. It’s boring and there’s nothing special there. What interesting in this chapter is a proposal made by Fukasaku. He proposed for Naruto to go to Myobokuzan with him and learn the sage arts. A place where Jiraiya learnt all his sage techniques from.

I think it’d be interesting to see Naruto train again!

Naruto manga 406 . Jiraiya’s death sure was hard for Konoha, especially the three people who were close to Jiraiya; Tsunade, Kakashi, and of course, Naruto. But regardless, Konoha were putting the best they could to encode the last message left by Jiraiya. We’ve known what the codes are from the previous chapter. We just don’t know "the meaning" of the code, yet, at this point.

At this chapter of Naruto manga, the code breakers of Konoha were asking Shikamaru to find the few people closest to Jiraiya while he was still alive, with the assumptions that Jiraiya left this codes especially for them. Shikamaru came up with Tsunade, and Kakashi. And only later that he mentioned Naruto.

Unfortunately both Tsunade and Kakashi didn’t have the slightest idea of what the codes could mean. And of course, this tells us that the "key to the future", actually lies within Naruto’s hands.

A few funny parts of the chapter which got everyone chuckled over, probably one of them was the part when Shikamaru asked Kakashi if he has an idea about the codes (which there’s a number "106" in it somewhere), and Kakashi had a flashback in his mind where Jiraiya mentioned the number out loud, and he actually referred to Tsunade’s breasts- 106cm! LOL!

Also, another funny part was Naruto’s reaction when he saw Kurenai’s tummy, thinking that Kurenai ate Yakiniku too much and ended up with swollen belly. Na-ah, it wasn’t Yaniniku, it was a baby, Kurenai was pregnant with Asuma’s child!!

Anyway, can Naruto find a clue left in the codes for the code breakers to fully encode it? We’ll find that out together on next chapter!

Umino Iruka

Umino Iruka, or whom Naruto used to call as “Iruka-sensei”, is such a sweet character. He’s been like a father to Naruto since Naruto was still in Ninja Academy. And I think I haven’t really seen him on the manga for a while since Naruto Part 2 (Naruto Shippuuden as anime).

Since Jiraiya took place in training Naruto, Naruto seemed to be closer to Jiraiya rather than Iruka whom he recalled as “the first person” to ever acknowledge him (though seemed like Naruto never forgets his sensei).

Now that Jiraiya has died, seemed like Iruka’s character comes back to light, to replace what has been missing in Naruto’s life.

Naruto manga chapter 405 especially highlighted this. And I especially loved it when Iruka split the ice-cream into two; half for him, another half for Naruto, while citing how Jiraiya always complimented Naruto even when Naruto wasn’t around.

Sob sob.. I think that was especially sad!

But other than that, what interesting is the “code” that Jiraiya left for Konoha to translate. The code is;

What’s the meaning of this code? We only get to find that on next chapter, chapter 406! But in the meantime, any idea, guys???

Have you read the latest Naruto manga chapter, the chapter 404?

I think one of the highlights in this chapter is the conversation that Madara had with Kisame. Believe it or not (and as crazy as it sounds), Kisame has actually been knowing Madara as the “Mizukage”.

Kisame is from The Hidden Village of Mist, which situated in the Mizu Country (Water Country). “Mizukage” is the name for a leader of The Hidden Village of Mist.

Hence, Mizukage in the Water Country and The Hidden Village of Mist is quite as equal to “Hokage” in the Fire Country and The Hidden Village of Leaf (Konohagakure). Get it?

How is it possible is not yet revealed. But considering that Madara has been alive for approximately 100 years, anything seems possible. No?

For what we have known so far, Uchiha Madara had been the frontman of the Uchiha clan, co-founder of Konoha, then the Akatsuki top leader, Uchiha Itachi’s teacher, and now, a MIZUKAGE??!

Sasuke, leading “Team Eagle” out to crush Konoha

Have you read or have a peek at Naruto manga chapter 402? If you haven’t and would like to know, we now have the new “Team Eagle”. So who are the “Team Eagle”? OK, remember “Hebi” alias “Snake”?

***SPOILER WARNING***

Team Hebi was formed by Sasuke after he took down Orochimaru. The team comprised of Suigetsu, Karin, Juugo, and Sasuke himself. These people were once either worked or held captive under Orochimaru at Orochimaru’s hideouts.

Now, after Sasuke was told of the “truth” about his brother Itachi by Uchiha Madara, he has come forward for a revenge. For his brother. And no longer under the name of “Team Hebi”, the new team, was named, “Team Eagle”.

And as Team Eagle, their goal is ONLY, to crush Konoha.

The symbol of Uchiha clan, one of the two strongest clans in their world

Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke. Itachi, Itachi, Itachi, Madara, Madara, Madara. Is there a chance of Naruto manga going back to “Naruto”? ^.^

Anyway, that aside, let us talk about Uchiha. The Uchiha clan, and the Uchiha pride in Naruto world. Having read the latest chapter of Naruto manga out this week, chapter 400, I’ve got mix feelings and perceptions toward Uchiha clan, and Itachi as one person. Have you read the latest Naruto manga chapter? Have you been following Naruto manga? What do you think of this whole “Uchiha” scenario that has just been unveiled lately?

For me, in my point of view, I would say the “Uchiha pride” was the one thing that brought the clan down. Uchiha were too proud of themselves, too self-absorbed. Let alone the history, Sasuke is the living example of that selfishness. Sasuke had once vowed to “revive” the clan. But little that he knew that what he was “trying” to revive was the worst clan in their mankind.

So now if what has been revealed in Naruto manga lately is all true, what do you think should Sasuke do next? Kill himself because of his failure? Kill Madara and still try to revive his clan? Go back to Konoha with new hopes and shameless face? What?

Senju and Uchiha Clan Leaders

Done reading Naruto manga chapter 399, I stood still for a few moments staring at the computer screen pretty much in awe.

Who would’ve guessed it all will come down to this?

***Note: spoiler for those who haven’t read chapter 399!!***

We all have known The First Hokage as the founder of the village of Konoha. Tsunade is his granddaughter, who’s continuing serving as the village’s leader after generations Konoha was founded. But who exactly is The First Hokage, we barely knew. His clan, his history before Konoha. And now– it all has been unveiled. The truth of the founders, and the forefathers of Konoha, both from the strongest clans in their world, Uchiha clan, and Senju clan.

And most of all, the leaders of these two clans, who had agreed to peace, how had they split apart, and what had, generations after, finally caused Itachi “his life”.

If you haven’t read Naruto manga chapter 399 and wondering what am I saying on here, quickly go read the chapter, it’s awesome!

Uchiha Sasuke

Have you read the latest Naruto manga out this week? If you have, I guess you can start to see how the story has actually flipped the other way round now. Itachi, the one who we had always been known as “the badass missing-nin” and the ultimate enemy of Konoha, who had killed his entire clan for his own worth, is now revealed in Naruto manga chapter 398 that he actually did it all under the orders from Konoha, and to save the world of shinobi -including his brother.

Now, that the fight between Itachi and Sasuke is over, and Sasuke “supposedly” gained “victory” from it, is it pathetic now that Sasuke actually killed the brother that had been protecting him all the time without him knowing it?

Itachi left Konoha and became a missing-nin to save the world of shinobi.

Sasuke left Konoha to hunt and killed his brother who sold his soul for others.

In the end, did Itachi die as a true warrior, while Sasuke just merely a traitor?
